Our Events

We love to gather together as we strive to follow Jesus in this community He has placed us in.  By meeting together, we learn, encourage, challenge and help one another to walk with Jesus intentionally.

Upcoming Events

Starting Monday September 19

 A new cycle of the Griefshare Support Group begins for those who have lost a loved one, Monday evenings – 6:30-8:00 pm. at the Community House, Conoy Township, Bainbridge (formerly the Saltshaker Building) Please consider joining us and inviting others from our community. Wednesday nights (beginning September 14th) from 6:45-8:15 for kids 3 years old (2 years from Kindergarten and potty trained) through 5th grade.

The purpose of Awana is to reach kids and families with the good news of Jesus and to engage kids in the lifelong process of following Jesus.  Every Wednesday night consists of three elements- large group instruction, small group gatherings (and snacks- of course!) and games.

Tuesday, December 13 Seasoned Citizens are having lunch at Gus’s at 1 pm. We will also need help at the church at 11 am to prepare socks for Water Street. Sign up on the bulletin board in the back!


Wednesday, December 14 – AWANA Christmas Family Celebration!

Thursday, December 15 CONNECT 6 – 7:30 pm. Connect is a youth program for young people in Grades 5-12 sponsored by Conoy Township Churches. Each Thursday evening(1st & 3rd ) features activities, prizes, refreshments and a devotional time.

Friday, December 16 Dress rehearsal for the Children’s Christmas Program at the church – 6 pm.- 8 pm.


Saturday, December 17 Youth Group will meet at Dan and Katie’s house for a Christmas celebration from 5:30 – 8 pm.! Dinner and dessert will be provided. Please bring a $5:00-10.00 wrapped present to use for a fun gift exchange! Sunday, December 18 Children’s Christmas Program – 10 am. Classes will not be meeting for the 9:15 am. hour. There will be a Church Family Christmas Dinner at 11:45 am. Please sign up on the bulletin board. Each family is asked to bring either a salad or a dessert!

ANNOUNCEMENTS

ITEMS NEEDED! The Ladies Group will be assembling “Homeless Gift Bags” at their event on December 4th. If you would like to help by donating a few items please check out the sign up list on the bulletin board. Items needed: snack packs(not chips), bottled water, hand sanitizer, tissues, chapstick, toothpaste / brushes, soap, socks, gum, etc.

*Seasoned Citizens are again collecting socks for Water Street, from now until December 11. They should be good quality, warm socks for men or women. Preferably white, gray or black. There will be a marked box at the entrance near the Welcome center.

Global Outreach Partners

Bainbridge Good News Club – meeting on Tuesdays after school from 3:35- 5pm through November 15. Please pray for the students who will attend and for the Good News Club Team-Anne Aungst, Ruth Beeler, Janice Dvorak, Ken Gruber, Evelyn Keener & Margie Smith.

Visitation Team We are beginning a visitation team to take over the role that Pastor Dave held as our visitation pastor. Karen Rutt will be leading the team and coordinating with Pastor Mark. The goal will be to provide personal interaction with our elderly and to visit those in the hospital. Anyone who is interested, whether able to engage in regular visits or occasional visits, is welcome to join. We are inviting any who are interested or who would like to join the team to contact Karen Rutt or Pastor Mark.
